About

I’m a humanitarian aid provider & mobilizer for GHNI. My passion is service. I love everything from helping a poor village achieve self-sustainable development to just hosting a killer party for some friends! 🙂 I’m an artist at heart and love experiencing new cultures, whether it be tribal or social.   Also, wine and coffee lover.  You can win me over any day with either of these!

    Hi there,

I just read about the Global Hope Network office opening in Amman so I immediately checked out the website to find out about your organization, found your blog and here I am!
I’ve been in Jordan for a year now and am looking forward to one more year and maybe many more.
I would love to volunteer for Global Hope Network if there is a need. I’m finishing my year of teaching English at the Ahliyyah School for Girls and will begin teaching over the summer starting June 20th. I also have some experience with non-profits; I interned at FAIR Fund, an organization in Washington, D.C. that fights human trafficking.
On a related note, I also wanted to make a contribution to the Wheelchairs for Jordan fund.
My next three sundays are free as I don’t teach on Sundays.
I also love coffee and wine so if you would just like to hang out and get to know Amman, let me know, my friends and I would be happy to take you out!

Heather, I am SO sorry I missed meeting you while I was in Jordan! You sould like such an amazing person!!! Your interests reflect mine. I’m sure we would have been lost in conversation! But sadly my time in Jordan was over on the 22nd (the day you wrote) and now I’m back in Orlando, FL. One of my coworkers is still in Jordan, however, (he’s Jordanian) and I am sure he would LOVE to meet you! I would be more then happy to connect the two of you to chat about opportunities to volunteer. In the meantime, if you would like to plan a time to Skype perhaps you and I can chat. I have a special passion to fight human trafficking and would love to hear any wisdom that you can offer in that capacity and tell you a little more about what GHNI is doing in Jordan. 🙂 I look forward to connecting with you soon!! ~Jess

    Hi Jessica,

It was wonderful seeing you today, your enthusiasm and passion are so great to be around. I’m going to start by pointing everyone I know to your blog and now that I have it I will visit it myself frequently. God Bless.

    Janine
